Ms. VanderVelde's Class: How is China in 2011 a Blend of Traditional and Modern Culture

I learned that in china there are lights on the buildings and every night they light them

I learned that in the forbidden city their were holes in the buildings for dragons to sleep.And that their are taco bells and mcdonalds there.

I learned that they froze the old president's body and people wait in line to go and see him.
I also learned that younger kids can were clothes like we wear in America but older people wear more traditional clothing!!!

I learned that in china even in rural towns with mountains and rivers there are still McDonalds everywhere and that a lot of kids like the song "Friday"too.

Same as els said I didn't know that the Chinese froze their president and that people wait in line to see him. That seems kind of disturbing tone but that is what their culture does.

I thought that it was very interesting that the McDonalds was in between mountains and a river. I learned that they have light shows and that the children there catch on very quickly when it comes to language.

I learned that in lots of rural mud huts people have T.V and internet. And another thing I learned is that Sam dances like a chicken.
