Spend a Week in Japan- Virtual Postcard Assignment

Imagine that you could take a week-long trip to Japan.  What sorts of things would you like to see or do?  For this assignment, you will be asked to research at least four different things you would want to see or do if you visited Japan and write a postcard to Mr. Piper describing your experience.

You could choose to write about cultural attractions we've talked about in class or saw in the Japan Revealed DVD, or else explore a topic about Japan that you are interested in.

Below are postcard templates Mr. Mussoline made to assist us.  They are made with a program called Pages, a word proceesor for the iPad.  If you have an iPad with Pages, the template will open right up in Pages for you.

If you do not, open the template and save it as your name postcard (for example, Piper-postcard) in the Group Folder on the Macintosh under your advisor's name.
