I learned that... some kids live in a dorm and study there and stay away from their parents, because some people think kids work better and concentrate better away from their parents.

I learned a that there are about 40 kids per class in China. Also they go to school about 10 hours every day. The government also only allowed private schools since 2008 and there are already 70,000 private schools already.

What I Learned About Chinese Schools

Some kids in China live at school!

In China 70000 private schools were built in just three years.

The average school day is ten hours.

There are usually forty kids in one classroom.

Some kids are put under a great amount of pressure to do well on exams.

I learned that kids are kids no matter where they are or if they live in a dorm for school or study extra hard. Basically kids are kids no matter what their background is.

I learned that the children really care for their future and have a lot of pressure to study hard.

i learned that the competition is fierce to get into a university. They have to work EXTREMLY hard to pass the exams to get into a good school. :)

What I learned relates to stereo types, that not every chinese school works harder than any school in America.
this is from the movie we saw, some kids live in a dorm at their school & stay away from their parents because their parents chose to because they think it actually helps them concentrate if they were away from their parents because they think they might distract them when doing their school work.

I learned that there are a lot of stereo types. Like all kids there are REALLY smart. I also learned that they study a lot for there exams so they will get into a good collage. What I thought was crazy is that 70,000 schools are public schools in 2008. Another crazy thing Is that they go to school for 12 hours.
