Happy Summer!

Greetings, Wold Investigators! It has been a pleasure working with you all this year. I hope that you have a wonderful summer vacation. If you are visiting this blog, please write a comment about one thing you really enjoyed about your experience in 5th grade world geography. I can then share these with the new batch of "World Investigators" in the fall. Take care and learn something new each day!

Earth Day Reflections- Mrs. Judge's Class

This week in the fifth grade we have a lot of activities going on dealing with Earth Day. We have our service learning project, doing the Brown Deer Park clean up on Friday, April 17th. We also are going to have a Skype conference with Mr. Montagne, a good friend of Mr. Piper's and one of the organziers of EarthCast 09 next Tuesday.

For this week's blog post, think about what Earth Day means to you. Why should we celebrate Earth Day? Why is Earth Day an important holiday for us to think about? What are some simple, easy things you can do for Earth Day to help make the world a little nicer?

As always, please sign your blog comment with your initials or your first name and last initial.

This blog will be shared with Mr. Montagne, our friend Mr. Clapp (Bells from Everest) and possibly even teachers from other parts of the world. Do your best and try to think of something creative to share about Earth Day!
